Galleries are available for viewing approximately 4 weeks after the wedding and 2 weeks after engagement session. We may post a few images on our blog and facebook as a sneak peek because we love what we do and can't wait to share.

Your final edited images are delivered in .jpeg format at 8 x12 in at 300 dpi. RAW files are not available for purchase and remain property of the studio. Print release is included with your digital file purchase. We retain the copyright.

The number of images shot at your wedding is based on the amount of hours, activities and the number of guests. We do not guarantee a set amount of images, but as a guideline you can expect approx. 45-60 images per hour of service that you contract. If you have two photographers the number increases to approx 65-80 images per hour of service.

We accept checks and major credit cards . A non-refundable retainer fee of $2,000 is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due one month prior to your wedding. Time requested on the day of the wedding will be billed at our a la carte hourly rate. It is best that you reserve sufficient time at your initial booking.

After you’ve decided that you’d like to hire me to photograph your wedding, i will send you a contract and retainer invoice to hold your date. We can meet in person for this or I can send you the documents via e-mail.

Most brides book approximately 9-12 months in advance. If you want to guarantee that I’m available on your wedding date, I recommend signing up at your earliest convenience.

Travel within a 50 mile radius of my studio is included. If your wedding or engagement session takes place outside of that range additional fees may be added. Destination weddings are an exception.

I would recommend selecting a package with a second shooter if:
- you have a guest list of over 100 people
- there are multiple locations for getting ready, ceremony and reception
- you want more photos

All wedding days are different so we will go over your unique scenario during your initial consultation and make the best estimate. In general, 8 hours should be enough for the full day coverage starting with getting ready details and ending with some candid moments on the dance floor.

All of our wedding packages include in person or over the phone consultation. We care about your big day and want to make sure we are a good fit and address any of your questions or concerns well in advance.

If you want your photographer to tell your love story, you need to let them in and open up. Each couple is different and requires a different approach and it's so important to figure all of it out before the wedding day. It's more than just getting pictures done for your save the dates. It's about building trust, experiencing what it's like to be in front of my camera and seeing a preview of what your wedding photos might look like. It's also about taking a break from all the wedding planning and making some time for just the two of you to connect and go on a romantic adventure.

My advice is to make it epic! Pick a place that means a lot to both of you, don't just do what everyone else does. A lot of places around DC require permits for commercial photography, so that's another incentive to think outside the box. Some of my favorite sessions involved hiking, climbing and rolling in the grass and I can provide you with a list of suggestions. Also, if you are planning a vacation somewhere scenic - don't forget to mention it to me, I might meet you there for your session!

Whatever you decide to wear - it should reflect who you are. Not just an everyday version, bet the best version of you. Whatever outfit makes you feel the most beautiful, the most in love and the most adventurous. I personally love maxi dresses that flow in the wind, flower crowns, bowties and hats. You can bring multiple outfits, but I always feel like the session has more magic and flow when there is one carefully curated look instead of two or three casual ones.

Props can make an ordinary session into something unique and beautiful and can help you infuse your session with personality. Something as simple as a bouquet of flowers will elevate the whole experience and look. I'll be sending you tips on this as we get closer to your session.

Typically engagement sessions take place during 2 hours before sunset or 2 hours after sunrise. It's just enough time to relax and explore together.

On average I deliver somewhere between 60 and 80 photos in color for engagement session. Your gallery will also have a separate folder for select black and whites. You'll see a sneak peek within a week of your session and the complete gallery within 2 weeks. You will get unlimited downloads and printing rights.

Call me old-fashioned, but I think wedding albums are family heirlooms to be cherished for generations. When I'm taking photos at a wedding, I already do so with a visual storytelling in mind. I know what pieces of the day were significant and what details should be included. I will be able to resize the images to the correct parameters and design the layout unique to your day. I have already done all the research on the printing labs and tested the quality, so that I can offer the best of the best to my clients.

My standard album includes 20 spreads and prints 10x10. A full spread includes the left and right sides of the page while laying open and have a center crease for a seamless lay flat design. All albums are crafted by hand with best archival materials. Cover options include European leather, linen and silk.

Once your final gallery is completed, you can select your favorite images to be included in your album from within your gallery. I will design the first digital proof using those images and send it to you for approval. Most couples love the first version right away, but I offer a few rounds of edits if needed. Once the design is complete, I will send it for print and it will be in your hands within a matter of weeks.

Yes! My printing lab has my color calibration profile and will print my images on the high quality paper. You can order anything from a simple 4x6 to a giant canvas print from within your gallery and the photos will be delivered to you within a week.
