DC Engagement Photographer
Eunju told me that when she started the search for her DC wedding and engagement photographer she was looking for that special something. That serendipitous connection that can be described only as magical. I instantly fell in love with her creative spirit and was counting down the days till her engagement session.
When the day finally arrived, Eunju and Stephen invited me to take a stroll through Georgetown with them to revisit their first date location. It was so romantic! Their fur baby Toby joined us on our adventure as well and he completely won me over with his endearing personality. I love it when my couples bring their dogs to engagement sessions. I get to see their day to day interactions and I have a soft spot for puppies. Toby could totally be friends with my own Multitzu named George. They are both small, white, fluffy and friendly.
As Washington DC engagement photographer I know all the spots that give you that quintessential romantic Georgetown look, but are not too crowded. It’s important to find quiet locations because I want to focus on couples’ connection. Also, I want them to have a great experience during their session. We went by the canal and the waterfront. We also strolled through some quaint streets together. At the very end we got to enjoy a gorgeous sunset over Potomac River. The lighting was out of this world! This is exactly why I always recommend couples to schedule their engagement session for golden hour to get that soft romantic light.
I’m so excited to document Eunju and Stephen’s wedding soon. If it’s anything like their engagement session it will be magical.
